Leak Detection

Once water mains are buried, short of a water main break or a hydrant being hit by a car, it can be difficult to pinoint the location of a leak.  Leaks might initially be noticed from meter readings or increases in usage with no obivous changes to procedures.  Hydra Tech, Inc. can pinpoint the location of leaks whether on public or private property.  Once a leak detection survey is complete a final report is presented to the contractor/property owner.  When necessary and/or required complete reports can also be provided to your Town or local Environmental Protection Agency, as needed.

Leak Repairs

If necessary, after locating the leak, Hydra Tech, Inc. can also make the repairs to your main or hydrant(s) as needed. 

  Leak detection can involve listening to hydrants, valves or listening on the ground following the main/service line.
